ABOUT US

Rebuilding Together – Sheboygan County is an affiliate of the nation’s leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. We provide free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the homes of low-income residents.

Rebuilding Together believes in a safe and healthy home for every person: disabled and aging homeowners, people displaced by natural disasters, veterans, single-parent families and any homeowner with limited means in need of a home that is warm, safe and dry.

As the economic pressure on low-income families grows, more and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities and essential home repairs and modifications. That's who we want to help.

National Rebuilding Day

Held on the last Saturday in April, National Rebuilding Day is the annual signature event of Rebuilding Together. All across the country, affiliates, such as that of Sheboygan County, bring together volunteers, national and local sponsors, and communities to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners.

The Sheboygan County affiliate often tackles five to 10 homes in a single day—a heart-tugging experience that often leaves volunteers and sponsors with the need to return year after year.
